This offer reduces Kernel's FX fee on US shares and ETF trades to 0.75% (Core), 0.40% (Plus) and 0.30% (Premium) for trades placed between 7:00am Wednesday 23rd September 2026 and 11:59pm Friday 9 October 2026 (NZT), based on when a trade is placed rather than when it settles. Kernel Plus and Premium subscription fees continue to apply at standard rates.
From Saturday 10 October 2026, FX fees return to their standard rates of 1.50% (Core), 0.60% (Plus) and 0.40% (Premium) for any trades placed. Kernel may vary, suspend or withdraw this offer at any time, and any change won't affect trades already placed prior to the effective time of the variation, suspension or withdrawal. The discounted FX fee is calculated based on the Kernel Subscription you are on at the time of your buy or sell order:
- Core: 0.75% (50% off the standard 1.5% FX fee)
- Plus: 0.40% (33% off the standard 0.6% FX fee)
- Premium: 0.30% (25% off the standard 0.4% FX fee)
The reduced FX fee is automatically applied to every buy and sell order placed on the Kernel platform within the promotional period (23 September - 9 October 2026). You do not need a promo code.
