Whether you are setting up an individual, kids, trust or company account, signing up is paperless, hassle-free and doesn’t cost a cent!
The next step is to confirm it’s you opening an account - a tiny bit of admin, but a very important step!
You’ll need your bank account details, IRD number and I.D. This can be your NZ drivers license or passport.
We can also accept a certified copy of foreign passports – get in touch with our friendly team with any further questions.
Once you’re verified, start saving towards your short term goals with Kernel Save, build a long-term investment portfolio with Kernel Invest or transfer your KiwiSaver balance.
Simply sign in to see your dashboard and pick the products that fit what you need.
We have no lock-ins, minimum deposit amounts, transaction fees or foreign exchange fees, so managing your account is easy. In fact, for any portfolio balances under $25,000 the member fee is on us!
